# Update Your Postal Address

> How contractors update the postal address Omnivoo uses for payouts and tax documents.

If you are a contractor, Omnivoo uses your postal address for the things that have to reach you physically or legally: your payouts and your tax documents. Keeping it current makes sure those arrive at the right place.

## Important Things to Know

The address window is designed to be filled in fresh each time:

* **It opens empty every time.** The fields show example placeholders, not the address currently on file, so re-enter each field you want to set.
* **Only the fields you fill in are saved.** Any field you leave blank is not part of the save.
* **At least one field is required.** If you click **Save address** with every field blank, Omnivoo shows the error "Enter at least one address field."

<Note>
  Because the window opens empty and only submits the fields you type into, you can update a single field by entering just that one, the fields you leave blank are not included in the save.
