# Benefit Plans

> Browse the read-only catalog of benefit plans available to your employees.

The Benefit Plans page lets you browse the benefit plans available to your employees. The page is read-only - you browse plans here, you do not create or edit them.

The page subtitle reads "Browse available benefit plans by country", but there is no country filter and no country-based grouping. Country is simply one of the fields shown on each plan card. The only filters on this page are the **type** dropdown and the **Active only** checkbox.

## Opening Benefit Plans

The benefits pages are not in the left sidebar. To reach Benefit Plans:

* Go to the [Benefits Administration](/benefits/benefits-dashboard) page and click **View Plans**, or click the **Browse Plans** Quick Action card, or
* Go directly to `/employer/benefits/plans`.

The header reads **Benefit Plans** with the subtitle "Browse available benefit plans by country". A **Back to Benefits** button returns you to the Benefits Administration page.

## Plan types

You can filter the catalog by these plan types:

| Type | Description |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| **Health Insurance** | Medical coverage |
| **Dental** | Dental care coverage |
| **Vision** | Vision care coverage |
| **Retirement** | Retirement savings plans |
| **Life Insurance** | Life coverage |
| **Disability** | Disability income protection |
| **Wellness** | Wellness programs and support |

## Filtering plans

The filter bar at the top of the page has:

* A **type** dropdown - choose **All Types** or a single benefit type to narrow the list.
* An **Active only** checkbox - ticked by default, so only active plans show. Untick it to include inactive plans as well.
* A live counter on the right showing how many plans match (for example "12 plans found").

The catalog loads up to 50 plans at a time. If no plans match the current filters, the page shows an empty state headed **No benefit plans** with the message "No benefit plans found matching your criteria."

## Plan cards

Each plan appears as a card showing:

| Field | Description |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Plan name** | The plan's display name |
| **Type** | The benefit category |
| **Status badge** | **Active** or **Inactive** |
| **Description** | A short summary, when one is provided |
| **Country** | The country the plan is available in |
| **Provider** | The benefits provider, shown only when one is set |
| **Employer Cost** | Monthly employer-side cost, shown per month ("/mo") in the plan's own currency |
| **Employee Cost** | Monthly employee-side cost, shown per month ("/mo") in the plan's own currency |

Costs are shown in each plan's own currency, which can differ from one plan to another, so figures across different plans are not directly comparable.

Each card has a full-width **View Details** button that opens a separate plan-detail page for that plan. The detail page is still read-only - there is no create, edit, or enroll action on this screen.

<Note>
Benefit plans are a read-only catalog. There is no option in this page to add, edit, or deactivate a plan, and the catalog is maintained for you. If you need a plan that is not listed, contact Omnivoo support.
