> ## Agent Instructions
> Omnivoo is an India-first Employer of Record (EOR) platform. EOR hiring is India only; contractors are supported in 220+ countries and territories.
> Never tell a user to log in with a password. Authentication is passwordless: email OTP, passkeys, Google, or SSO.
> Statutory figures (TDS slabs, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, gratuity) change by financial year. Always state the year the figure applies to.
> Never name a third-party payment provider as Omnivoo’s payment rail. Refer to "our payments partner".

# Getting paid from a signed contract

> Ask a client you already have a signed contract with to pay you through Omnivoo. The terms come from the contract and nobody signs again.

If you and a client have both signed a contract through Omnivoo, you can ask them to pay you through Omnivoo. It doesn't matter which of you sent it. You invoice against the contract and get paid into your bank in your own currency.

Open **Get paid** from the card in your menu, the tab on your phone, or the card on **Home**.

## Two things, once

<Steps>
  <Step title="Verify who you are">
    A selfie and a government ID. About 5 minutes. We have to do this before we can send anyone money. See [Verify your identity](/contractors/verify-your-identity).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask a client to pay you here">
    Pick a client you have a signed contract with. We ask them for you.
  </Step>
</Steps>

You can ask a client first and verify while they decide.

## Asking a client

On **Get paid**, click **Ask them** beside the client. Or open the contract and use the button there, for example **Ask Northwind to pay me here**.

The page shows who we email and the contract. That is the person who sent your contract, or the person who signed the one you sent. If they have no Omnivoo account yet, the email asks them to create one. There are no numbers to enter: the rate, scope and payment terms come from the contract you both signed. You can add a note of up to 500 characters, which they see in the email.

Click **Send the request**.

* Asking is free and uses no credit.
* If they say no, your contract stays as it is and they keep paying you the way they do today.
* The page shows what your client sees, including what it costs them.

## What happens next

1. They say yes and verify their business, if they haven't.
2. You verify your identity, if you haven't.
3. You send your first invoice from **Invoices**.

<Note>
  You don't sign again. The contract you both signed covers your pay as soon as your identity is approved. If your verified name is not the name on the contract, you sign a work agreement instead. The same goes for a contract you sent, if the company that takes you on is not the one you named in it.
</Note>

## What it costs you

| | |
| - | - |
| **Service fee** | 1% of what you receive |
| **Monthly fee** | \$0.00, your client pays it |

You see the exchange rate before any money is converted.

## Staying on Contracts

That's fine too. Nothing here is needed to send or sign contracts, and we never ask for your ID until you want to be paid.
