# Viewing a person's profile

> Open an employee or contractor profile from My Team to see their details, payroll, documents, and status.

From the [People (My Team)](/employer/employees) page, click any active person to open their profile. What you see depends on whether the person is an India EOR employee or a contractor. Every profile has a **Back to People** link at the top to return to the list. If a person cannot be resolved, the page shows **Person not found.**

## Employee profile

When you open an EOR employee, the header shows their name, current status, job title, location, and start date, plus a badge indicating whether their bank account is set up. If the employee is active, a **Terminate** button is available in the header.

The employee profile has four tabs:

### Overview

The Overview tab shows the employment picture:

* **Contract Details** - Engagement type, start date, status, currency, monthly salary, and total CTC.
* **Employment Terms** - Contract type, work hours per week, notice period, and probation period.
* **Monthly Cost Breakdown** - Base salary, benefits, and the Omnivoo EOR fee, with a total monthly cost. Amounts may be shown in your invoice currency using a live exchange rate.
* **Summary** - The monthly fee and when the record was created.
* **Bank Account** - Whether the employee has submitted their bank details, or a prompt that they still need to.

### Payroll

The Payroll tab shows the employee's monthly payslip breakdown, including earnings (basic salary, allowances, HRA), deductions (TDS, PF, ESI, professional tax), and employer contributions.

### Documents

The Documents tab lists the documents on file for the employee, each with a **Download** link. You can also:

* **Request Document** - Ask the employee to provide a specific document. Enter a document type and an optional message, then send the request. Requests appear in a list with a status (Requested, Submitted, or Cancelled), and submitted files can be downloaded here.
* For terminated employees, generate termination documents (such as a relieving letter and experience letter) and view the related settlement.

### Compliance

The Compliance tab shows a readiness checklist for the employee, with a progress bar and individual checks such as bank details, tax regime declaration, PF and ESI registration, and KYC documents. For India payroll, it also lists statutory contributions (PF, ESI, professional tax, and gratuity provision).

## Terminating an employee

If an active employee needs to be offboarded, click **Terminate** in the header. You provide a termination date (which must allow for a notice period), a reason, and optionally choose to waive the notice period, then confirm.

## Contractor profile

Opening a contractor from My Team first shows a **contractor hub** for that person. The hub highlights their **Latest active engagement** and lists **All engagements** you hold with them, so a contractor engaged on more than one contract shows every engagement in that list (a contractor with a single engagement simply shows one). Pick an engagement to open its read-only detail. The hub header shows the contractor's name and a **Contractor** badge, with their email and country beneath.

When you open an individual engagement, the header shows the contractor's name, the engagement status, and a **Contractor** badge, along with their email and country. The engagement view is read-only and shows a set of cards rather than tabs:

* **Account status** - Onboarding, tax form, payout account, and verification status.
* **Engagement terms** - Billing mode, rate, payment terms, start date, status, and (when applicable) the platform fee details.
* **Agreements** - The work agreement for the engagement. You can generate a two-party work agreement (the contractor signs first, then it returns to you to counter-sign) and review and sign when it is your turn. Completed agreements can be viewed.
* **Invoices** - Invoices the contractor has submitted, each with a **Download** link.
* **Payouts** - Payments made to the contractor.

For a one-off engagement whose invoice has been paid, a prompt lets you mark the engagement complete to close it out.
