Compliance Alerts
Compliance Alerts keep you informed about regulatory changes, upcoming deadlines, and compliance risks across every country where you have team members. Omnivoo monitors employment law and tax changes globally and surfaces what matters to your specific workforce.
Alert Severity Levels
Every alert is assigned a severity level that indicates how urgently you need to act:
| Severity | Color | Meaning | Action Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Critical | Red | Immediate legal or financial risk. Regulatory deadline or law change that directly affects your workforce. | Act immediately. Review the alert details and take the recommended steps before the deadline. |
| High | Orange | Significant change that requires action soon. New regulations, rate changes, or upcoming compliance deadlines. | Act within the specified timeframe. Plan resources to address the change. |
| Medium | Yellow | Awareness item. Proposed legislation, upcoming changes, or compliance recommendations. | Review and prepare. No immediate action needed, but stay informed. |
| Low | Green | Informational. Minor updates, best practice reminders, or general regulatory news. | Read when convenient. No action required. |
Critical alerts often have hard deadlines. Missing a deadline for a mandatory filing, rate change, or registration can result in fines or legal liability. Treat critical alerts as top priority.

From the Compliance Hub
- Navigate to the Compliance Hub.
- Click Compliance Alerts in the quick actions, or scroll to the Recent Alerts section.
- The alerts page shows all active alerts sorted by severity (critical first).
Filtering Alerts
Use the filters at the top of the alerts page to narrow your view:
- Severity -- Show only critical, high, medium, or low alerts.
- Country -- Filter to a specific country.
- Category -- Filter by compliance area (Tax, Employment Law, etc.).
Company-Specific Alerts
Omnivoo tailors alerts to your workforce. The Team Alerts section shows only alerts relevant to countries where your current employees are based. This saves you from reviewing changes in countries where you have no presence.
If you expand into a new country, alerts for that country automatically appear in your Team Alerts once you have active team members there.
Check your Team Alerts regularly, even when things seem quiet. Regulatory changes in smaller markets often fly under the radar but can have significant compliance implications.
Alert Summary Statistics
The alerts page includes a summary bar at the top showing:
- Total active alerts -- Number of unresolved alerts across all countries.
- Critical count -- Number of critical-severity alerts requiring immediate attention.
- By category -- Breakdown of alerts by compliance area.
- By country -- Breakdown of alerts by affected country.
These statistics help you quickly assess your overall compliance exposure.

Keeping Your Workforce Compliant
Compliance alerts are most effective when combined with the other tools in the Compliance Hub:
- Use the Country Compliance Guide to understand the full regulatory landscape for each country.
- Use the Worker Classification Tool to ensure your employment arrangements are correctly classified, especially when alerts indicate classification law changes.
- Review the Compliance Hub dashboard weekly for a quick summary of your compliance posture.
By staying proactive with alerts, you can address regulatory changes before they become problems rather than reacting after the fact.
