Adding owners and verifying your signatory
On Omnivoo's current payment setup, Company Setup is a two-step flow: Company details first, then Owners & control. This article covers the Owners & control step, where you add the people who own or control your company and complete a live identity check for your signatory.
Adding your owners and control persons
Add every person who owns or controls the company (beneficial owners and control persons) using + Add person. For each person, provide:
- First name and Last name
- Date of birth
- Email and Phone
- Address line 1 (optional), City, State / Province, Postal code, and Country
- Identifier type (SSN or Passport) and its value
- Ownership, entered as a fraction from 0.25 to 1.0 (for example, 0.5 means 50%)
- Title (for example, Director)
Two extra controls sit at the bottom of each person's card:
- An Executive checkbox, for anyone who is an executive.
- A Signatory radio button. Exactly one person must be the signatory. Selecting a new signatory clears it on everyone else.
Each person also uploads two documents:
- ID document (back page) -- the back page of their government ID.
- Proof of address -- a utility bill or bank statement (less than 3 months old).
Both documents must be a PDF, JPG, or PNG, up to 10MB each.
The verification summary
A summary box at the top of the step shows where verification stands:
- The current KYB status.
- Whether your payment account is provisioned yet.
- Any Currently due items the reviewer still needs.
Verification setup is provisioned automatically the first time you reach this step, so you do not need to trigger it.
Verifying your signatory
The designated signatory completes a live identity check. Click Start signatory verification. This first saves the owners you have entered, then opens the identity check for the signatory.
The button is disabled until your payment account is provisioned and every person's details are complete (with exactly one signatory). To run the check, the signatory scans the on-screen QR code (or opens the secure link) on their phone, then photographs their government ID and takes a short selfie. The session can expire, so it is best to finish it promptly.
What happens after you submit
When you complete the step, Omnivoo saves your owners and submits your verification. You will see a confirmation with the resulting status, and if anything is still outstanding it is listed under Still required.
The banner at the top of the page reflects the outcome:

Once a verification has been submitted for review or verified, it cannot be resubmitted.
