Where to find it
Open Company setup from the Getting started checklist on Home, or click Add people and follow the prompt. The page opens on three tasks:- Company details
- Owners and directors
- Check and submit
Only an owner or admin of your Omnivoo account can verify the company. Anyone else sees who can finish it.
What you’ll need
- Your company’s tax number and date of incorporation, exactly as they appear on your registration documents.
- For everyone who owns 25% or more, and at least one director: their date of birth, home address and ID number.
- Owners who live outside the countries where we can check an ID number need a passport photo, or can verify themselves from a link we email them.
Company details
Pick the country of registration first. It decides the types of company we offer and which tax number we ask for:
Then add the registered name, date of incorporation, business phone, website and registered address.
We check some things as you type, because they would otherwise fail the review days later:
- A personal PAN in the company field. The 4th letter of a PAN says who holds it: C for a company, F for an LLP or firm, P for a person. A private limited company needs a company PAN.
- A phone number that isn’t valid for its country.
- An incorporation date in the future.
- A PO box as the registered address. Use a street address.
- No website. If you don’t have one, use a LinkedIn company page or an app store link.
Owners and directors
See Owners and directors.Check and submit
This page shows everything once, with Change links. If something still needs fixing, it’s listed at the top with a link straight to it. Tick the confirmation that you can act for the company and that the details are true, then click Submit for review. If you aren’t a director, we may ask for a letter from one saying you can do this. After you submit
The details are locked while we check them. The page shows where things are:Needs more info
The page lists only what we asked for, each with the reason when we have one:- A company detail, such as the tax number or address. Change it where it’s shown. If it was right all along, tick It’s correct as it is.
- A company document, such as your certificate of incorporation or proof of the company’s address.
- An owner’s document, such as a clearer photo of their ID or proof of their home address.
- An owner’s details, which opens that owner.
