Workforce Analytics

The Global Workforce Analytics page gives you a bird's-eye view of your entire distributed team. It pulls together headcount, spending, compliance, and payroll data into a single dashboard so you can make informed decisions without digging through multiple pages.

Beta

This feature is in beta (it shows a "Beta" badge in the app). The data and visualizations may evolve as we gather feedback from employers.

Accessing Workforce Analytics

Workforce Analytics is not surfaced in the main navigation. You can open the page directly at /employer/analytics. The dashboard loads automatically with your current workforce data.

Date Range Filtering

At the top of the page, you can filter the data by date range using the From and To date pickers. This is useful for:

  • Comparing workforce metrics across different quarters.
  • Reviewing spending trends over a specific period.
  • Generating data for board reports or budget reviews.

Click "Clear Filters" to reset to the default view, which shows all-time data.

Summary Cards

The top of the dashboard shows four key metrics:

MetricWhat It Shows
Total HeadcountThe total number of active workers across all countries and engagement types. Also shows the employee-only count separately.
Monthly SpendYour estimated total monthly cost across all active engagements, displayed in your preferred currency.
Countries ActiveThe number of countries where you have active engagements.
Benefit EnrollmentsThe total number of active benefit enrollments across your workforce.
tip

Use the Monthly Spend figure as a quick sanity check against your budget. If it looks higher than expected, drill into the Country Breakdown below to see where costs are concentrated.

Headcount by Country

This section breaks down your workforce by country. For each country, you can see:

  • Country Name - Where the workers are located.
  • Headcount - Total number of active workers in that country.
  • Employees - The subset of headcount that are employees, as opposed to other engagement types.
  • Monthly Cost - The total monthly cost for that country, shown in the local currency.

This view helps you understand your geographic distribution and identify which countries are driving the most cost.

By Engagement Type

This section groups your workforce by how they are engaged with your company. The types you may see are:

Engagement TypeDescription
EOR EmployeeEmployees hired through Omnivoo's Employer of Record service.
Full-TimeFull-time engagements.
Hourly ContractHourly, contract-based engagements.
Managed TalentManaged talent engagements.
InternshipInterns.

For each type, you see the number of people and the total monthly cost. Only the types that apply to your team are shown. This helps you understand the composition of your workforce and how much each engagement model costs.

Compliance Overview by Country

Compliance is critical when employing people across borders. This section shows your compliance health for each country where you operate:

  • Compliance Score - A percentage indicating how many compliance requirements have been met. Color-coded for quick scanning:
    • 🟢 Green (80%+) - On track. Most requirements are complete.
    • 🟡 Yellow (60-79%) - Needs attention. Some requirements are pending.
    • 🔴 Red (below 60%) - Action required. Significant compliance gaps exist.
  • Completed Requirements - How many out of the total requirements have been fulfilled.
  • Pending Requirements - How many requirements still need attention.
warning

A low compliance score means there are outstanding regulatory obligations that could expose your company to penalties. Address pending requirements promptly - navigate to the Compliance section for details on what needs to be done.

Payroll Summary

The bottom section provides a snapshot of your payroll activity:

MetricWhat It Shows
Total RunsThe total number of payroll runs processed.
PendingPayroll runs that are in progress or awaiting approval.
CompletedSuccessfully processed and paid payroll runs.
Total AmountThe cumulative amount disbursed across all payroll runs.

This gives you a quick pulse check on payroll health without needing to navigate to the payroll section.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often is the data updated?

The analytics data is refreshed each time you load the page. It reflects the current state of your workforce, costs, and compliance as of the moment you view it.

Can I export this data?

Export functionality is coming soon. In the meantime, you can use the date range filters to narrow down the data for specific reporting periods.

Why does my headcount differ from my employee count?

Total Headcount counts everyone with an active engagement, while the employee subcount counts only employees. The difference is made up of your non-employee engagements (for example, contractors and other engagement types shown in the "By Engagement Type" breakdown).

What currency are costs shown in?

Costs are shown in your company's configured invoice currency. Country-level breakdowns may show costs in local currency where applicable.
