Your Profile & Security

Your profile page lets you manage your personal information, communication preferences, and account security. To access it, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Profile.

Personal Information

Update your personal details at any time:

  • Full Name — Your first and last name as displayed across Omnivoo.
  • Email Address — The email associated with your account. This is used for login and notifications.
  • Role — Your current role in the company (Owner, Admin, or Member). This is set by your company's owner or admin.
  • Language — Your preferred language for the Omnivoo interface.

To make changes, update the fields and click Save.

Marketing Communications

Toggle the Marketing Communications switch to control whether you receive product updates, feature announcements, and tips from Omnivoo. Transactional emails (payment confirmations, payroll alerts, security notifications) are always sent regardless of this setting.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need both your password and a code from an authenticator app to sign in.

Enabling 2FA

  1. On your profile page, find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
  2. Click Enable 2FA.
  3. A QR code will appear on screen.
  4. Open your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password).
  5. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to verify.
  7. Click Confirm.
tip

If you can't scan the QR code, click Can't scan? to reveal a manual setup key you can type into your authenticator app.

Disabling 2FA

  1. On your profile page, find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
  2. Click Disable 2FA.
  3. Enter your current 2FA code from your authenticator app to confirm.
  4. Click Confirm.
info

If your workspace requires 2FA, you will not be able to disable it while you are a member of that workspace.

Recovery Codes

Recovery codes let you access your account if you lose your authenticator device. Each code can only be used once.

Viewing Recovery Codes

  1. On your profile page, click View Recovery Codes (available after enabling 2FA).
  2. Enter your password or 2FA code to verify your identity.
  3. Your recovery codes will be displayed.

Downloading Recovery Codes

  1. After viewing your codes, click Download to save them as a text file.
  2. Store the file in a secure location (such as a password manager or encrypted drive).

Regenerating Recovery Codes

If you've used most of your codes or suspect they've been compromised:

  1. Click Regenerate Recovery Codes.
  2. Confirm the action. Your old codes will be invalidated immediately.
  3. Save the new codes in a secure location.
tip

Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe but accessible. If you lose both your authenticator device and your recovery codes, you'll need to contact support to regain access to your account.

Logout from All Devices

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account:

  1. On your profile page, click Logout from All Devices.
  2. Confirm the action.

This immediately invalidates all active sessions across every browser and device. You'll need to sign in again on each device.

Sign Out

To sign out of your current session, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Sign Out. This only affects your current browser session.
