Adding people (employees & contractors)

When you want to bring someone onto your team, you start from the Add People chooser. It is a single entry point that branches to the right flow depending on whether you are hiring an India EOR employee or inviting a contractor.

Opening Add People

You can open the chooser from two places:

• On your Home dashboard, click + Add People.
• On the My Team page, click Add people.

Both open the same chooser. (You can also reach it directly at /employer/add-people.)

Choosing what to add

The chooser shows two options:

India EOR employee

Choosing India EOR employee takes you to the EOR hire flow, where you enter the employee’s details and compensation and confirm the hire. EOR is India-only and is for full-time employees.

Contractor

Choosing Contractor switches the same window to the Invite a contractor wizard, where you enter the contractor’s details and engagement terms and send the invite. The contractor receives an invitation to accept and complete onboarding. See Inviting a Contractor for the full flow.

What happens next

• EOR employees appear on your People (My Team) page once hired, and their onboarding progress shows on the dashboard’s Pending Actions feed.
• Contractors appear on My Team with a pending status until they accept. While pending, you can resend their invite using Copy invite link.
