What is Employer of Record?

An Employer of Record (EOR) is a third-party organization that legally employs workers on your behalf in a country where you don't have a local entity. Omnivoo's EOR service lets you hire full-time employees in India, without setting up a subsidiary, navigating Indian labor law, or managing local payroll yourself.

EOR hiring on Omnivoo is India only today. To engage people in other countries, use contractors -- a direct contract between your company and the contractor, available in 120+ countries.

How It Works

When you hire through Omnivoo's EOR:

  1. Omnivoo becomes the legal employer. We sign the employment contract, handle payroll, withhold taxes, and manage statutory benefits in the employee's country.
  2. You retain full control. You manage the employee's day-to-day work, set goals, and direct their tasks just like any other team member.
  3. Intellectual property stays yours. All work product and IP rights are assigned to your company through our service agreement.
