Hiring an EOR Employee
This guide walks you through the complete process of hiring a new employee through Omnivoo's EOR service — from company compliance checks to sending the offer.
Before You Start: Company Compliance Gate
If this is your first time hiring an EOR employee, Omnivoo requires some one-time company setup to ensure compliance. You'll be prompted to complete these steps before proceeding:
- Registered Address — Confirm your company's registered business address.
- Authorized Signatory — Designate who is authorized to sign employment agreements on your company's behalf.
- Master Service Agreement (MSA) — Review and accept Omnivoo's EOR service agreement.
- Billing Setup — Add a payment method for EOR service fees and payroll funding.
You only need to complete the compliance gate once. After your first hire, you can proceed directly to the hiring wizard for all future employees.
The Hiring Wizard
Once your company compliance is verified, click "Hire Employee" from the EOR Dashboard to launch the 4-step hiring wizard.
Step 1: Employee Information
Provide the basic details about the person you're hiring:

Use the employee's personal email if they don't have a company email yet. They'll receive their onboarding invitation at this address.
Step 2: Employment Details
Configure where and when the employee will work:

The country selection determines which local employment laws, benefits, and tax rules will apply. See supported countries for the full list.
The start date must be at least 5 business days in the future to allow time for contract generation and compliance setup. For some countries, longer lead times may be required.
Step 3: Compensation
Set the employee's pay:

The salary you enter is the gross amount before local deductions (taxes, social contributions, etc.). To understand the full cost breakdown, use the EOR Cost Calculator before hiring.
For India-based employees, the salary you enter is treated as the Cost to Company (CTC). This includes basic salary, allowances, and employer contributions to PF/ESI. See the Cost Calculator for a detailed breakdown.
Step 4: Review & Confirm
Before submitting, you'll see a summary of everything you've entered:
- Employee name, email, and job title
- Country and start date
- Monthly salary and estimated total employer cost
- Applicable statutory benefits for the selected country
Review all details carefully. Once you confirm:
- The hiring request is submitted.
- Omnivoo generates a locally compliant employment contract.
- The employee receives an onboarding email at the address you provided.
After Hiring: What Happens Next
Once you confirm the hire, here's what happens automatically:

Common Questions
Can I hire multiple employees at once? Yes. Run through the hiring wizard for each employee individually. Each submission is processed independently.
What if I need to change details after submitting? You can edit employee details from their profile page before the employment contract is signed. After signing, changes require a contract amendment.
How long until the employee can start working? Typically 5-10 business days, depending on the country and how quickly the employee completes onboarding.
