Your Work History: Employers and Engagements
Your work history is a three-level drill-down: the companies you work with, your engagements with each company, and the full detail of a single engagement. Start from My work in your contractor navigation.
Level 1: My work
My work shows a grid of cards, one per company you work (or have worked) with. Each card shows the company's logo (or a letter avatar when there's no logo), its name, and a tally like 2 active · 1 past. Click a card to open that company's engagements.
Engagements that aren't attached to a company don't appear here. If you have no work yet, the page shows "No work yet" with "Companies you work with will appear here once you're engaged."
Level 2: One company's engagements
Opening a company shows its title as the company name and the subtitle "Your engagements with this company", with a Back to employers link. Below that is a table of your engagements with that company, active ones first, then past:

| Rate | Your rate, phrased by billing mode: an hourly rate as "{amount} / hr", a fixed monthly amount as "{amount} / {frequency}" (defaulting to "month"), or the amount on file for a one-off. |
| Terms | Your payment terms: Net 15, Net 30, Due on receipt, or a dash. |
| Dates | The engagement's start and end, shown as "start -- end", with "Present" as the end when it's ongoing. |
| Status | A badge: In progress, Completed, or Active, otherwise the raw status shown in title case. |
Click any row to open that engagement's detail. If there are no engagements with this company, you see "No engagements."
Level 3: One engagement
An engagement's detail page has a Back to employers link, the engagement title, the company name as a subtitle, and five cards.
Terms
Shows the engagement status as a badge, plus:
- Company
- Billing mode -- Hourly, Fixed monthly, or One-off
- Rate
- Payment terms
- Started
- Ended, or "Present" while it's ongoing
Term history
A timeline of changes to your terms, newest first. Each entry shows the kind of change, when it took effect, and one line per field that changed -- for example "Rate: 100 → 120". It tracks changes to billing mode, rate, currency, payment terms, and billing frequency, and shows a reason when one was recorded. If nothing has changed, it reads "No term changes recorded."
Invoices
Each invoice for this engagement, with its period label (or "Invoice" and its id), the submitted date, a status badge, and the total. Click a row to open the invoice. When there are none, it reads "No invoices for this engagement." See Submitting an Invoice.
Payouts
A read-only list of payouts for this engagement, each with the amount and a status badge (Pending, Processing, Paid, Failed, or Reversed). When there are none, it reads "No payouts for this engagement." See Getting Paid: Payouts.
Agreements
Each work agreement for this engagement, with a status badge and, when available, timestamps such as "Employer signed ...", "Contractor signed ...", and "Completed ...", plus a "Signed PDF available" note. Click a row to open the agreement. When there are none, it reads "No agreements for this engagement." See Contractor Work Agreements.
