Setting Up Your Company on Omnivoo

Getting started as an employer takes two short stages: a quick onboarding wizard when you first sign in, and a one-time company setup that you complete before hiring your first employee.

Stage 1: Sign In

Omnivoo uses passwordless sign-in. You enter your work email, receive a 6-digit code, and verify it (or use Google sign-in). There are no passwords to create or remember. For the full sign-in walkthrough, including two-factor authentication and single sign-on, see Logging In.

tip

Use your company email address, not a personal one. Omnivoo uses your email domain to detect your company workspace, which makes team management simpler. If your company already uses Omnivoo, see Joining a Company Already on Omnivoo.

Stage 2: Complete Onboarding

The first time you sign in as a new employer, Omnivoo shows a short onboarding wizard. It has two steps, and a Step X of 2 indicator at the top tracks your progress.

Step 1: What brings you to Omnivoo?

Pick what you want to do. This sets up the right experience for your account:

  • Hire full-time employees (EOR) -- hire employees in India through Omnivoo as the Employer of Record.
  • Pay contractors directly -- work with independent contractors in 120+ countries.
  • Both -- do both of the above.

Step 2: Tell us about your company

Fill in your company details on a single page:

  • Your full name
  • Company legal name -- enter your exact registered legal entity name, as it flows into your service agreements.
  • Company website (optional)
  • Country of incorporation
  • Team size -- pick a range from the chips: 1-5, 6-15, 16-50, or 50+. The question is worded for your goal. If you chose Pay contractors directly, it asks "How many contractors are you looking to pay through Omnivoo?". Otherwise it asks "How many employees are you looking to hire in India?".
note

If you arrived from the Omnivoo marketing site, your name, website, and team size may already be filled in from what you shared there. You always enter your company legal name and country of incorporation yourself, because they appear on your service agreements. Every prefilled field stays editable.

Click Complete setup. A short welcome screen appears, and Omnivoo takes you to your dashboard.

note

Onboarding does not ask you to upload any documents or sign an agreement. It only collects the basics above. Your full company verification details and agreements come next, on the company setup page.

Stage 3: Complete Company Setup (Before You Hire)

Before you can hire your first EOR employee, Omnivoo needs a few more company details. When you start hiring, Omnivoo checks whether this is complete and, if anything is missing, sends you to the company setup page to finish it.

Company setup collects your registered address, your authorized signatory, and your billing contact, along with business verification documents. You complete it once, then you can hire as many employees as you need without repeating it.

Depending on your account, setup runs as one of two flows:

  • A three-step flow covering Company Legal Details, then Billing Information, then Company Documents, followed by your service agreements.
  • A streamlined two-step flow: Company details, then Owners & control, where you add the people who own or control the company and one designated signatory completes an identity check.
