Choosing Your Dashboard

Some Omnivoo users have more than one role. For example, you might be a team member managing hires for your company (employer role) and also an EOR employee at another company (employee role). When this happens, Omnivoo lets you choose which dashboard to start with each time you log in.

The Dashboard Chooser​

When you log in with an account that has multiple roles, you will see the dashboard chooser page instead of going directly to a dashboard. This page shows your available roles:

  • Employer Dashboard -- Manage your company's employees, payroll, and compliance.
  • Employee Dashboard -- View your employment details, payslips, tax documents, and leave balances.

Click the role you want to use, and you will be taken to the corresponding dashboard.

Remembering Your Choice​

If you typically use one dashboard more than the other, you can save time by enabling the Remember my choice option on the dashboard chooser page.

  1. On the dashboard chooser, check the Remember my choice box.
  2. Select your preferred dashboard.
  3. On future logins, Omnivoo will skip the chooser and take you directly to that dashboard.

You can reset this preference at any time from your account settings. If you clear it, the dashboard chooser will appear again on your next login.

Switching Between Dashboards​

Even after choosing a dashboard, you can switch to your other role without logging out:

  1. Click on your profile avatar (or initials) in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to open the user menu.
  2. Scroll down in the dropdown -- below Profile and Company Settings, you will see a Switch to Employee option (if you are on the employer dashboard) or Switch to Employer (if you are on the employee dashboard).
  3. Click it, and you will be taken to your other dashboard immediately.

The role switcher is inside the profile dropdown menu, not a standalone button on the page. If you don't see it at first, make sure to open the dropdown by clicking your avatar in the top-right corner.

This switch is instant -- there is no need to log in again or re-verify your identity.

Your session stays active across both dashboards. Any work you were doing (such as a draft hire or a leave request) is preserved when you switch back.

Who Gets the Dashboard Chooser?​

The dashboard chooser only appears when your account has more than one active role. This typically happens when:

  • You are an employer team member at one company and an EOR employee at another.
  • You manage a workspace and are also employed through a different workspace on Omnivoo.

If you only have a single role, you will go directly to your dashboard after logging in -- no chooser needed.

Common Questions​

I selected "Remember my choice" by mistake. How do I change it?​

You can reset this in two ways:

  • From the profile dropdown: Open the user menu (click your avatar in the top-right), and click Always show dashboard choice below the role switcher option.
  • From settings: Go to Settings > Account Preferences and clear the default dashboard option.

The dashboard chooser will appear again on your next login.

I can't find the role switcher. Where is it?​

The role switcher is inside the profile dropdown menu -- click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the page. Look below "Profile" and "Company Settings" for the switch option. It only appears if your account has both employer and employee roles.

Can I have both dashboards open at the same time?​

Yes. You can open each dashboard in a separate browser tab. Log in once, select one dashboard, then open a new tab and navigate to the other dashboard URL directly.
