The Product Tour
The first time you sign in, a spotlight tour walks you through the dashboard in four fixed steps. Each step dims the screen and highlights one part of the layout with a tooltip card.
The second step changes with the goal you picked during onboarding:
- Hire full-time employees (EOR): titled Hire your first employee, inviting you to add your first India employee while Omnivoo handles contracts, payroll, and compliance across all 28 states.
- Pay contractors directly: titled Invite your first contractor, where you set the terms, then open the preview to read the localized contract before you send it. Your contractor signs first, then you counter-sign.
- Both: titled Add your first person.
The Getting Started Checklist
Your employer home shows a Getting started card with an X of Y complete counter and a progress bar. It tracks three first tasks, in this order:
The third task is worded for the goal you picked during onboarding: Hire your first employee (“Add an India employee through EOR”), Add your first contractor (“Invite a contractor and start paying them”), or Add your first person (“Hire an employee or invite a contractor”). All three open the same Add People chooser.
Completed items are struck through. Clicking an item that is not yet done takes you to the page where you can finish it. When every item is complete, the card shows “You’re all set!” with a Dismiss button to tuck it away.
There is deliberately no “connect a bank account” step on this checklist. Linking a bank account happens after your business is verified, which is why KYB verification is the step that unlocks payouts.
What Omnivoo Remembers
To keep these aids from getting in your way, Omnivoo remembers whether you finished the tour, whether you dismissed a checklist, and whether you have visited your Compliance page. You see each one only until you are done with it.What’s Next
