Leave and the holiday calendar only show if your employer has them turned on. Your employer can turn them on by emailing contact@omnivoo.com.
Who it applies to
It applies to you if the Leave section of your offer letter lists Annual Leave, Casual and Sick Leave and Menstrual Leave. Every offer letter Omnivoo sends now includes it. If you joined before the policy, nothing changes for you. Your leave and holidays stay as your offer letter set them.Fixed holidays
Four days are paid holidays every year:
If you are asked to work on one of them, you get double your wage for that day and another day off.
Other festivals are not fixed holidays. Take them as Annual Leave.
Annual Leave
- 15 days a year.
- In the year you join, you get a share of the 15 days for the part of the year left from your start date, rounded to the nearest half day.
- Days you don’t use carry forward to the next year, up to a balance of 45 days.
Casual and Sick Leave
- 8 days a year, one allowance for both casual and sick days.
- In the year you join, you get a share for the part of the year left from your start date.
- Days you don’t use by 31 December lapse. They don’t carry forward.
Menstrual Leave
- Women get 1 paid day each calendar month.
- You don’t need to give a reason or upload any documents.
- A day you don’t use that month doesn’t carry forward, and isn’t paid out.
- A request has to start and end in the same month.
