A secondary email is a second login address, not just a backup contact. You must verify it with a one-time code before it works for logging in.
Adding a Secondary Email
1
Open My Profile
Open My Profile (click your avatar at the top of the left sidebar, then Profile).
2
Expand the Security section
Expand the Security section.
3
Click Add Secondary Email
Under Secondary Email, click Add Secondary Email.
4
Enter the address and send the code
Enter the email address you want to add and click Send Code. Omnivoo sends a 6-digit verification code to that address and confirms with a message like “Verification code sent to” followed by a masked version of the address.
5
Verify the code
Type the code into the verification field. The field accepts digits only (anything else is ignored), and the Verify button stays disabled until all 6 digits are entered. Click Verify.
Verifying a secondary email signs you out of every other device. The browser you verified from stays signed in; anything else logged into your account has to log in again. That is a deliberate security measure (a new address can now sign you in), not a bug.
You can have one secondary email on your account at a time. To switch to a different address, remove the current one first, then add the new address.
If the Code Does Not Arrive
- Check the spam or junk folder of the secondary address. Omnivoo emails come from @omnivoo.com.
- While the verification step is open, click Resend Code to send a new one.
- If you entered the wrong address, click Cancel, then start again with Add Secondary Email.
Logging In with Your Secondary Email
After your secondary email is verified, log in exactly as usual:1
Enter either address
On the login page, enter either your primary or your secondary email in the Work email field.
2
Send the verification code
Click Send verification code.
3
Enter the OTP
Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to that address.
Removing a Secondary Email
- Open My Profile > Security.
- Under Secondary Email, click Remove.
