Profile Settings
Your Omnivoo profile contains your personal information, notification preferences, and account settings. This guide explains how to view and update your profile.
Accessing Profile Settings
- Log in to your Omnivoo dashboard.
- Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Profile Settings from the dropdown.
Personal Information
What You Can Update

What Requires Verification
Certain changes require additional verification for compliance reasons:

Legal name and date of birth changes affect statutory filings (PF, TDS, ESI). These changes require manual verification by the Omnivoo compliance team to ensure records match across all government portals.

Control which notifications you receive and how:

In-App Notifications
All notifications appear in the bell icon on your dashboard. In-app notifications cannot be disabled individually -- they mirror your email notification settings.
Configuring Preferences
- Go to Profile Settings > Notifications.
- Toggle notifications on or off using the switches.
- Changes save automatically.
Certain notifications (payslips, tax deadlines, salary changes) cannot be disabled because they contain legally required information.
Language and Regional Settings
Omnivoo currently supports:
- Language: English
- Currency display: Indian Rupee (₹) -- automatic for all India EOR employees
- Date format: DD/MM/YYYY (Indian standard)
- Time zone: IST (Indian Standard Time) -- used for leave calculations and payroll cutoffs
Updating Your Email Address
If you need to change your login email:
- Go to Profile Settings > Account.
- Click Change Email.
- Enter your new email address.
- Verify the new email address via OTP.
- Your login email is updated.
After changing your email, use the new email for all future logins (both OTP and Google OAuth are matched by email). Your old email will no longer work for authentication.
Deleting or Deactivating Your Account
- Active employees cannot delete their accounts. Your account remains active for the duration of your employment.
- After employment ends (F&F settled), your account transitions to a read-only archive. You can still access payslips, Form 16, and other documents.
- Account deletion requests can be submitted to support@omnivoo.com after employment ends. Note that certain records must be retained for 7+ years per Indian labor and tax law.
For Employers: Team Settings
Employers have additional settings:
- Workspace name and branding
- Team member roles (Admin, HR, Finance, Viewer)
- Approval workflows (who approves leave, payroll, expenses)
- Custom leave policies
Access these under Settings on your employer dashboard.
