Time Off
The Time Off page gives you a read-only view of your team's leave: requests, balances, and policies. It is organised into three tabs: Requests, Balances, and Policies.
To create or edit leave policies, or to approve and reject requests, you use the EOR leave pages. See Leave Policies and Leave Approvals. This page is for viewing.
Opening Time Off
The benefits pages are not in the left sidebar. To reach Time Off:
- Go to the Benefits Administration page and click Manage Time Off, or click the Time Off Management Quick Action card, or
- Go directly to
/employer/benefits/time-off.
The header reads Time Off Management with the subtitle "Manage time off policies, requests, and balances". A Back to Benefits button returns you to the Benefits Administration page.
Summary cards
At the top of the page, four cards summarise time off:
- Active Policies - number of active leave policies.
- Pending Requests - number of requests awaiting approval.
- Days Used (Year) - total leave days taken this calendar year.
- Avg Balance - average remaining balance, in days, across your team.
Requests tab
The Requests tab lists time-off requests from your employees.
Filtering requests
A single status dropdown lets you filter the list:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All Statuses | Show every request |
| Pending | Awaiting approval |
| Approved | Leave is scheduled |
| Rejected | Request was declined |
| Cancelled | Employee withdrew the request |
What each request shows
Each request displays the employee's name, the leave type (with an icon), the requested date range, the total days, and a status badge.
Pending requests show Approve and Reject buttons on this page, but these buttons are display-only here and do not act on the request. To actually approve or reject leave, use the EOR Leave Approvals page - see Leave Approvals.
Balances tab
The Balances tab shows every employee's leave balance across their policies.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Employee | The team member |
| Policy | The leave policy, with a type icon |
| Allowance | Total days allocated |
| Accrued | Days accrued so far |
| Used | Days already taken |
| Pending | Days in not-yet-approved requests |
| Available | Remaining balance (Accrued - Used - Pending) |
For monthly-accrual policies, the Accrued column increases over the year, so Available reflects what has been earned so far, not the full annual allowance.
Policies tab
The Policies tab shows your company's leave policies as read-only cards. Each card shows:
- The policy name and leave type, with a type icon.
- An Active or Inactive badge.
- Annual Allowance in days.
- Accrual Type (annual or monthly).
- Max Carry Over in days, when the policy allows carry-over.
This tab does not include controls to add, edit, or deactivate a policy. Policy setup lives on the EOR Leave Policies page.
Leave types and accrual
Omnivoo's EOR runs on India statutory leave. Leave policies use these types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Casual | Short-notice personal leave |
| Sick | Leave for illness or medical needs |
| Earned | Accrued paid leave (privilege leave) |
| Unpaid | Leave without pay |
Accrual is either annual (the full allowance is available at the start) or monthly (days accrue each month). Carry-over is a simple setting: either the policy allows carrying unused days up to a maximum number of days, or it does not.
To create, edit, or remove leave policies (including applying the India statutory defaults), use the EOR Leave Policies page - see Leave Policies.
