Browsing and Filtering Plans

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down your plan list:

  • Filter by type -- Select one or more plan types (Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, etc.) to show only those categories.
  • Filter by status -- Toggle between Active plans (currently available for enrollment) and Inactive plans (paused or archived).
tip

Use the type filter when you want to compare plans within a single category -- for example, viewing all Health Insurance plans side by side to compare costs and coverage.

Plan Cards

Each plan is displayed as a card with key information at a glance:

Plan Configuration

When you open a plan, you can view and edit its full configuration:

Coverage Details

  • What's covered -- List of covered services, procedures, or benefits
  • Coverage limits -- Maximum amounts, annual caps, or lifetime limits
  • Deductibles -- Amount the employee pays before coverage kicks in
  • Co-pays -- Fixed amounts the employee pays per visit or service
  • Network -- In-network vs. out-of-network coverage differences (if applicable)

Eligibility Rules

Define who can enroll in this plan:

  • Employment type -- Full-time or part-time eligibility
  • Minimum tenure -- How long an employee must be employed before they can enroll
  • Job level or department -- Restrict plans to specific groups if needed
  • Dependent eligibility -- Whether employees can add spouses, children, or domestic partners

Waiting Period

Set the waiting period before coverage begins after enrollment:

  • Immediate -- Coverage starts on the enrollment date
  • Custom period -- Coverage begins after a specified number of days (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 days)
info

The waiting period applies to new enrollments only. Employees who transfer between plans within the same category typically do not have a new waiting period.

Effective Dates

  • Plan start date -- When the plan becomes available for enrollment
  • Plan end date -- When the plan expires or is retired (leave blank for ongoing plans)
  • Open enrollment window -- If enrollment is restricted to specific periods, define the start and end dates
warning

Changing a plan's eligibility rules or coverage details after employees have enrolled may affect existing enrollments. Review the impact carefully before saving changes. Existing enrollees will be notified of any material changes.

  2. Select the plan type.
  3. Fill in the plan details -- name, description, provider, costs, and coverage.
